I´m Kathy

A little about me: I’m super passionate about people and LOVE love, which is a huge part of why I love being able to capture love stories. Whether thats yourself, family, partner-it is all revolved around love. Call me a romantic if you will! My ultimate goal is to create genuine smiles and moments that are true to your love story-no fake smiles!! That may look like giving prompts rather than poses. I will sing baby shark at the top of my lungs or create the most hideous and insane laugh you’ve ever heard to get you & your loved ones to smile!
In my free time, I love trying out new things like upcycling something I thrifted, baking something I found on TikTok, or trying out a local restaurant. I’m huge on family and just so happen to be my family’s designated babysitter. If I wasn’t a photographer I would probably be a teacher or social worker. I love traveling and exploring new places. Though I'm local to Minnesota I would love to travel to meet you where you are.

Kathy did a fantastic job of getting us comfortable and relaxed in front of her lens! She gave us posing prompts and fun little ways to get our genuine smiles out. All You Need to Know About my photography Services
Q: How early should I contact you to book a session?
A: We recommend reaching out as soon as possible. All dates are on a first come, first serve basis. Ideally at least 9-10 months in advance for weddings & events and 2-3 months in advance for lifestyle sessions. However, we can also accommodate shorter timelines depending on the complexity and scale of your session.
Q: Do you help with posing?
A: Yes! I never want to assume that each of my clients are professional models. I have a bunch of prompts and poses ready for your session. If you have specific poses you want to try, please let me know so I can help capture your vision!
Q: How long is your turnaround time?
A: Turn around time for lifestyle sessions is 30 days. For weddings & events, the turnaround time for your gallery is 6 weeks-10 weeks after your event date.
Q: If I’m not from Minnesota, can you travel to me?
A: Yes! I can travel to meet you where you are. Depending on where you are located, travel fees may apply. However, if you are located somewhere I have already planned to visit, I can waive travel fees for your session!
Q: Do you provide RAW/unedited photos?
A: When you book, you are able to add-on RAW/unedited images to your gallery for an additional cost. If you choose to add on this option, your images will be delivered to you through a flash drive usb.
Q: What if there is inclement weather during our scheduled session?
A: Sometimes the weather does not work in our favor. The best way to combat this is to be prepared! Have a back-up location for your session or a studio booked just incase. If nothing else, just roll with the punches! Umbrellas can make for some fun photos, even if it is a little drizzly outside.
Q: What is the best way to book with you?
A: The best way to book your session with me is to send me an email! I love to be super personable and walk you through the packages as well as communicate what your vision is for your session.
